splitting 2009 equally amongst London, New York, and Shanghai. thanks world studies ^_^. at best my blogging will hopefully capture some of the craziness/ fun/ observations of what people and cultures are like around the globe. at worst it'll be another shrine glorifying my near perfect existence.

The road to Borough Market
This past Thursday my friends and i headed to Borough Market, the largest and/ or oldest open air market in London. so we crossed Millennium Bridge, with St Paul's in the backdrop.
Borough Market is full of free samples of all sorts of foods: cheeses, wines, pastas, candies, chocolates, coffees, teas, desserts. The first vendor we saw was making a sort of seafood and chicken stew concoction. it smelled amazing
Next guy over ran a fish market.
My friend Jill stands in front of a stand full of nuts, chocolate covered dried fruits, and other snacks.
Apple and ale shop!
The jam counter. we tried all of the jams, i brought back an apricot jam with me.
the bread man! he was really nice.
Vegetable stand. better than the packaged stuff i get at the Tesco and Sainsbury near us. Dont think id make the 45 minute trip just got grocery shopping though...
